Custom Homes

We specialize in luxury custom homes tailored to a particular way of living. Site, light, and proportion come first. From selection of the land through the last hardware, a dedicated team holds every detail.

Remodel

A remodel is not a cosmetic overlay. We reconfigure flow, restore character, and raise every surface to a quiet luxury — kitchens, baths, suites, and the rooms in between — until the house feels inevitable.

Design-Build

An integrated design-build practice removes the seam between drawing and dwelling. Decisions are made once, with everyone in the room, so the finished house is the same thought that began on paper.

Interior Design

We offer design-build with an interior design partner, so interiors are composed with the building: material, light, and proportion, held to the same standard as the structure itself.

    Conversation

    We begin with how you live — the land, the light, the rooms you need, and the ones you do not yet know you need.

  2. 02

    Draw

    Architecture, interiors, and construction are drawn as one. The contract follows the drawing, not the other way around.

  3. 03

    Build

    The house is built as specified — on the day we named, and within the means we agreed. Stewardship is part of craft.

  4. 04

    Arrival

    A finished dwelling, ready to be lived. Walkthrough is not an ending. It is the house beginning.

Both. Desert Dwelling is a design-build general contractor for luxury custom homes and comprehensive remodels in Paradise Valley and Scottsdale.
What does design-build mean here?
Architecture, interiors, and construction are held as one team and one contract — so the drawing and the dwelling are the same thought.
Where do you work?
Primarily Paradise Valley, Scottsdale, and the greater Phoenix desert. We take on a limited number of residences each year.
